Mabel Cheung’s “To My Nineteen-Year-Old Self” has sparked considerable debate.   While the award-winning documentary is no longer available for us to form our own opinions, here’s an opportunity to watch one of the most famous works of the director in the spotlight.

“An Autumn’s Tale” is a romantic drama that takes place in the US, featuring the stunning Cherie Chung as a Hong Kong woman who is temporarily staying with her distant relative Chow Yun-fat in the New York City while pursuing a master’s degree. As Chow assists Chung in adjusting to her new life and coping with a painful breakup, chemistry develops between them. The film portrays the challenges and culture shock that new immigrants face.
