| Details | “My name is…”: the art of naming a baby in different cultures Each of us has a name but do you know the meaning your name carries or are you ever curious about someone else’s name? Actually naming a child can be a nerve-wracking experience! Should it reflect parents’ admiration for someone or should it be determined by the alignment of the stars and the Five Elements? Join this session to listen to our Japanese and Burmese guests’ sharing about how the people in their countries receive names. If you have an unusual name or an interesting story behind it, you will be welcome to share it with us in this session! |
