| Details | “Moments Eternal, Beauty Unregretted” will take you on a journey to explore the mysterious charm of traditional industries and hidden gems in Hong Kong. Through the insightful sharing of alumna Ms. Lam Hiu Man, the talk will unveil the unique craftsmanship and cultural value of traditional trades, as well as delve into lesser-known hidden locations in Hong Kong. It aims to inspire curiosity and a passion for learning, encouraging everyone to immerse themselves in the beauty of these moments, experiencing their timeless charm without any regrets.
(Profile: With Hong Kong undergoing rapid changes, the city’s landscape constantly evolves. As the city transforms, a new generation of urban observers finds ways to record the unique culture of this place through various mediums, transforming history into memory. Hiuman Lam graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in Cultural and Religious Studies. In 2020, she established the “Hong Kong Reminiscence” page, which is dedicated to documenting the beauty of Hong Kong’s cultural heritage. She authored a book titled “Hong Kong Reminiscence: Documents of Hong Kong’s Old Stories” and has taken part in several exhibitions, such as Design Inspire, Design Spectrum, Leica x HK Trams exhibitions, and held a solo photography exhibition titled “Dust in Serenity”.) |
