Details

Movies are more than just entertainment; they offer new perspectives and allow us to appreciate different cultures.

Join us at our world cinema screening to embark on a heartfelt journey with Abbas Kiarostami’s cinematic gem, ‘Where is the Friend’s House?’ (1987). Follow a young boy’s moral quest through a small Iranian village, encountering obstacles and showcasing the beauty of human connection through this minimalist masterpiece in storytelling.

A discussion on Abbas Kiarostami’s cinematography and cultural significance will be hosted by Miss Wong Hei Man Fiona, Lecturer of HKBU College of International Education after the screening.

(This activity is organized by the i-Ambassadors of the Office of Student Affairs with support from the Internationalization Activity Fund.)
