Multicultural Fun Day

The Multicultural Fun Day on August 23, 2024, is specially designed to offer interactive diversity and inclusion activities for new non-local undergraduate students, followed by a welcoming dinner. The event aims to provide an engaging platform for participants to meet fellow freshmen from around the world and bond through interactive games.

During the programme, participants will have the opportunity to navigate the challenges and opportunities of studying in a multicultural and inclusive community. They will receive valuable advice from senior students and learn essential cross-cultural communication skills from experienced trainers. The event will conclude with an authentic Hong Kong culinary experience, allowing the participants to immerse themselves in the cultural integration of our diverse student community.

The Multicultural Fun Day is an important initiative to help new non-local students feel at home and seamlessly transition into the vibrant, inclusive learning environment at our university. Through interactive activities, peer-to-peer learning, and cultural exploration, the event aims to foster a strong sense of belonging and prepare the students for a rewarding educational journey ahead.
