Flourishing First Year @ CUHK provides a series of activities and workshops for all NEW students, inspiring them to apply the SEVEN WELL approach to strengthening themselves when encountering challenges during the transition to university life. SEVEN WELL featured activities and workshops will encourage students to develop healthy habits, combat stress, and build resilience so as to have a fruitful campus life at the beginning of their studies.

Tips on the SEVEN-WELL Stress Management Approach

Welcome back to CUHK! Your campus life will be filled with opportunities and challenges, and developing healthy habits while building resilience is key to easing tension and stress.

The SEVEN-WELL Stress Management Approach, developed by Professor Freedom LEUNG of CUHK, advocates improving stress-coping abilities through positive changes in seven key areas of life. To explore the Seven-Well approach more, we invite you to visit the pop-up “7-Well Store”!

  • Spread positivity & blessing via your creativity
  • Discover Ayurveda: A natural medicine system originated in India over 3000 years ago and closely related to yoga
  • Explore how different dosha (body energy type) influences one’s body, mind, and overall well-being
  • No prior knowledge of Ayurveda or yoga is required

As the exam approaches, we invite you to take a break and recharge at the “7-Well Stress Management Station”!

 

From 25 to 27 Nov, you can visit the Cultural Square and explore the “7-Well Stress Management Station”. Based on the “7-Well Stress Management Approach” developed by Professor Freedom LEUNG of CUHK, each “Well Station” focuses on making positive changes in your daily lifestyle to enhance your resilience.

 

Also, you can experience exciting and stress-relieving games at the following stations and win a 7-Well featured prize!

Smash away procrastination and other distractions!

3.      Play Well Station:

Catch the desired GPA and you can do it!
