The site of Tai Kwun is a unique mix of heritage and contemporary architecture. With a deep respect for authenticity, 16 heritage buildings have been meticulously restored for adaptive reuse. Western Market (North Block) was identified by Antiquities and Monuments Office as one of the Declared Monuments in 1990. And is now the oldest market building in Hong Kong. During this immersive tour, participants will have the opportunity to delve into the captivating Edwardian style originating from England that the Western Market embodies.
