Traditional and Modern Rites of Passage
3 Apr 2023 (Mon)  6:30pm-8:00pm

We might associate rites of passage with something mystical or ancient. However, the transition from child to adult is a milestone in life which may involve a rite of passage! In the past, enduring hardships to prove your bravery and worth to the community were common practices, but do modern societies still hold on to the same beliefs and values? How do we define adulthood or eldership in our communities?

Join us as our group of international guests share about the events marking different stages of life in their own countries and discuss the important question: is age just a number?
