General Education: from F(oundation) to A-B-C-D and Beyond  |  Office of University General Education

Description The General Education (GE) Programme at CUHK consists of the University GE and the College GE, with the University GE comprising the GE Foundation Programme and the University GE Four Areas. In the GE Foundation Programme, students engage themselves with classical texts, learn to articulate complex ideas, and develop values and attitudes essential for academic study and lifelong learning. In the University GE Four Areas, students broaden their intellectual horizons and learn to appreciate the links between tradition and modernity, and China and the West. In this talk, students will have a glimpse of General Education as their intellectual journey towards becoming well-rounded persons who will contribute to this ever-changing world.
