Global Lens@CUHK

In Global Lens@CUHK, LCES will collaborate with the non-local student associations at CUHK and provide a dynamic platform for these associations to organize and showcase a variety of cultural events that contribute to the vibrant campus community.

This programme encompasses diverse cultural activities, including workshops, performances, exhibitions, and other immersive initiatives. These events are carefully curated to celebrate cultural diversity and foster cross-cultural understanding within the CUHK community. For example, the programme may feature workshops led by student associations, where participants can learn traditional crafts, snacks, or languages from different parts of the world. Performance-based events will showcase the artistic talents and cultural traditions of the non-local student communities, such as music, dance, and theatre. Additionally, festivities will allow the student groups to introduce their respective cultures.

By offering this diverse array of cultural events, the Global Lens@CUHK programme aims to create a campus environment that celebrates diversity, encourages cross-cultural dialogue, and fosters a greater appreciation for the richness of global cultures among the CUHK community.
