詳情

Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree refers to a tree outside a temple located in Tai Po. The temple, built in the Qing dynasty, acquired its name as locals wrote their wishes on joss paper tied to an orange and threw them up to hang in these trees. It was believed that if the paper successfully clung to one of the tree branches, the wishes would come true.

In this upcoming tour, local i-Ambassadors will take you to Lam Tsuen, where you can experience the authentic local tradition of making wishes. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy “Yum Cha,” a delightful dim sum meal at a nearby traditional Chinese restaurant.

Join us for a fun and culturally enriching afternoon!

(This activity is organized by the i-Ambassadors of the Office of Student Affairs with support from the Internationalization Activity Fund.)
