詳情

Dream catchers originate from North American indigenous Anishinaabe culture and are believed to provide protection against bad dreams, nightmares, and evil spirits. Traditionally, they are hung above the bed, with the web acting as a filter to capture negative dreams and prevent them from reaching the dreamer. On the other hand, good dreams are guided through the center hole of the dream catcher and gently slide down the feathers, bringing positive energy and guidance.

Join our workshop to discover native Canadian culture and have the opportunity to create your own dream catcher! Using leather rope, thread, craft rings, and beads, you can design a modern-looking dream catcher while exploring your creativity through personalized embellishments of your choice.

(This activity is organized by the i-Ambassadors of the Office of Student Affairs with support from the Internationalization Activity Fund.)
