Cyanotype Printing Workshop Join us to create your own unique cultural print using cyanotype, a photographic printing process that dates back over a century. The term “cyanotype” comes from the Ancient Greek words for “dark blue” and “mark/impression/type,” and it can capture even the tiniest details of an object by simply exposing it to sunlight and produces distinctive blue-and-white images. Before the digital era, this technique was widely used for architectural and engineering drawings, commonly known as blueprints. Register now to turn any object you like into a masterpiece! You can use items provided by us that represent Hong Kong culture, or bring an object of your own choice or that represents your own culture. You will also learn collage techniques to combine your cyanotype prints into an artistic design. We look forward to seeing you at our workshop!
