Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable journey of cultural exploration? We are thrilled to invite you to the new Chinese Culture Immersion Programme, offering students immersive and hands-on experiences to appreciate the richness of traditional Chinese culture. Please see the event details for September and October below. All the activities will be conducted in English unless otherwise specified.

  1. DIY Miniature Food Workshop
  • Dive into the delightful world of miniatures! In this hands-on workshop, you will create realistic miniature food items commonly found in local Cha Chaan Tengs.
  1. Guided Tour and Recycled Denim Coaster Workshop at The Mills (南豐紗廠)
  • Explore the fascinating history of The Mills, a revitalized textile factory turned cultural hub. After the guided tour, unleash your creativity in our denim coaster workshop, where you will upcycle denim scraps into beautiful coasters using diatomaceous earth.
  1. Hong Kong Style Milk Tea DIY Workshop
  • Join us to learn the art of brewing Hong Kong style milk tea (also known as “silk stocking tea”) a recognized intangible cultural heritage of the city and an important part of local food culture. Discover its cultural significance while perfecting your brewing skills.

  2. The participation hours will be recorded in the students’ Student Development Portfolio.
