Strumming Across Borders: A Ukelele Workshop Come and enjoy the soothing music and Hawaiian vibes at our Ukulele Workshop! The ukulele, meaning “jumping flea” in Hawaiian, originated from Portugal and was introduced to Hawaii in the late 19th century. It quickly became a beloved symbol of Hawaiian culture and music, renowned for its cheerful melodies that reflect the lively and playful spirit of Hawaii. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this workshop is designed to guide you through mastering the basics and strumming along to your favorite tunes. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to unwind as the end of the semester approaches. Don’t miss out on this unique cultural and musical experience! We look forward to seeing you there.
