| 詳情 | (Online session) *The meeting link will be included in the confirmation email. English, Chinglish, Singlish? What’s a language and what’s a dialect? Can a language ever be ‘pure’ or ‘broken’? If you think you can speak English, then prepare for a trip around the world and dive into varieties of English that will challenge your assumptions about what languages can be! This will be a fun evening of speaking, listening, understanding and misunderstanding, where we discover differences and parallels of various pidgin and creole languages to re-discover English. |
