What is a host expected to do?

  • Show your hostee(s) your care and share your culture.
  • Initiate at least two activities for your hostee(s) in 2023-24. The activities can come in all shapes and sizes, be they casual or family meals, festival celebrations, visits/outings. Each activity can be subsidized up to $300, or $600 for the hosts taking care of two students.
  • Each host-hostee pair is expected to join at least one of the activities arranged by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), e.g. opening ceremony, leisure workshops.
  • Attend the opening ceremony with your hostee(s) on 6 October 2023 (Friday) night (Not compulsory but highly encouraged!). Details will be sent to the participants in due course.

How will the matching exercise be done?
