| 詳情 | Located just a 5-minute walk away from the Diamond Hill station, Chi Lin Nunnery (志蓮淨苑) is a sprawling oasis in the city measuring more than 33,000 square metres. The Chi Lin Nunnery uses the traditional Tang Dynasty architecture with a design based on a Sukhavati drawing in the Mogao Caves. The buildings are constructed without the use of nails, relying instead on a traditional Chinese architectural technique that uses special interlocking systems cut into the wood to hold them in place. This technique is intended to demonstrate the harmony of mankind with nature. Come and escape the city stress and find peace with us in this spiritual oasis in the heart of Hong Kong!
