Reside at International House through the new University Dean of Students’ Nomination Scheme 2026/27

The Office of Student Affairs is excited to introduce the University Dean of Students’ Nomination Scheme for International House (I‑House), launching in the 2026/27 academic year. This is a unique opportunity for outstanding students to be recognised and offered the chance to live in a vibrant and diverse community.

Through this Scheme, selected students who have demonstrated meaningful contributions to the campus community will be offered residency at I‑House, where they can continue to engage, contribute, and expand their global perspective.

We are looking for students who:

• are full-time undergraduate students of CUHK, including local and non-local students (except those from full-residential Colleges)
• have demonstrated sustained contributions in one or more of the following areas:
  • Cultural diversity and integration
  • Voluntary service
  • Arts and sports
  • Other relevant achievements
• demonstrate alignment with the mission and core values of I‑House
• commit to residing at I‑House for at least one semester (priority will be given to applicants committing to a full-year stay; standard hostel fees apply)
• commit to active participation in hostel activities and initiatives
