| Details | Kowloon City was once called the Walled City. At that time, neither the Chinese, British nor Hong Kong government would enforce the law in this area. The Walled City thus became a place notorious for crimes and drugs. Today, this terrifying Walled City is no longer a place of crime. It is now known as “little Thailand” and “little Chaozhou” due to the reterritorialization of Thai and Chaozhou cultures. In this tour, you will learn the history of this city, and the changes that took place over all these years. |
