Details

The making of flour doll is not only a traditional Chinese art, but also a fashionable craft commonly found in the streets of Hong Kong in 1950s – 60s. With their skillful hands and imagination, flour doll craftsmen can transform rice flour and water into delicate dolls in the shape of legendary figures. In this workshop, participants can make a flour doll under the guidance of an experienced craftsman, and know more about the history and interesting stories about this traditional art.
