| Details | Life and Death Across Cultures How we celebrate the birth of the next generation and commemorate our departed ones differs vastly across cultures, religions and generations. Join us as we learn about the different ways to mark the birth of a baby and dive into how multicultural Singaporeans organise their funerals (hint: overnight camping with the coffin underneath public housing blocks with LED wreaths) together with other international guests. You don’t want to miss it!
Ukrainian Language and Culture Ukraine has received global attention in the international political arena this year. Yet, there is more for us to discover about Ukrainian culture itself. Our Ukrainian guest will share about her country’s history and childhood life as well as give us a glimpse into the Ukrainian language. It allows us to build a connection with its people, rather than its news headlines. |
