Arts Festival 2023: ‘Together in Rhythm’ – Performers wanted!

Aiming to celebrate cultural diversity and promote inclusiveness on campus through the Performing Arts, the Office of Student Affairs is going to organise the Arts Festival on the theme – ‘Together in Rhythm’ this semester. It is hoped that the Festival can present more than a feast for the eyes and the ears; it can also bring the CUHK community together and enhance cultural integration.

We are now looking for performers for the Arts Gala, the highlight of the Festival. If you want a platform to showcase your talents for the Performing Arts – music, dance, theatre, magic, stand-up comedy and more, don’t miss the chance!

What’s more, we are lining up with artists to conduct workshops on Zumba and A Cappella in which the participants will also perform in the Gala.

All CUHK students and staff are sincerely invited to show and shine on stage in the Gala.

Notes:

• Please prepare a video of a short piece of your intended performance and upload it to the application form for our screening. Shortlisted performers will be informed by email in late March.
• Length of performance: no more than 15 minutes
• No propaganda, commercial promotion or indecent language should be contained.
• Priority will be given to performances with cultural characteristics.
• In case of any dispute, the Office of Student Affairs reserves the right of final decision.
